ETAMP is an independent production company made from two production staffs composed of young and talented filmmakers. It has at its disposal personnel from all branches of the film industry, with a great choice of actors for leading, supporting and bit parts, as well as extras. ETAMP can also provide its customers with film sets, set design, props and costumes from all historical periods, as well as soundstages, or it can find attractive locations in the Czech and Slovak Republics.

Among the most interesting films produced with the help of ETAMP are SENSO, the French television remake of the famous Lucino Visconti´s "Obsession", directed by Gérard Vergés, the successful German film STALINGRAD, directed by Josef Vilsmayer, the French film GIORGINO, starring Mylene Farmer and directed by Laurent Boutonnat, the Dutch film for screen and television HOFFMANN´S HUNGER, directed by Leon de Winter and starring Jacqueline Bisset and Elliot Gould, the French television series COMMISSAIRE MAIGRET, with Bruno Cremer in the role of Maigret, the television series for Czech television SMASHING SEASON, based on the book by the popular Czech exile writer Josef Škvorecký and directed by well-known Czech director Karel Kachyňa, TOO LOUD A SOLITUDE, starring Phillipe Noiret, and LOVE LIES BLEEDING, starring Paul Rhys, Emily Raymond, Malcom McDowel and Fay Dunaway (Village Roadshow Pictures), JOAN OF ARC produced by Alliance Atlantis, broadcaster CBS, directed by Christian Duguay, starring Leelee Sobieski, Peter O´Toole, Jacqueline Bisset, Shirley McLaine, Olympia Dukakis, etc.

ETAMP has co-produced two major american feature films and two European co-productions, as well as producing a feature film of its own. They are THE ADVENTURES OF PINNOCHIO (Co-producer) for Savoy Entertainment / Kuschner Locke, directed by Steve Barron and starring Martin Landau, THE SHOOTER (Co-producer), with Producers Silvio Muraglia and Craig Baumgarten, directed by Ted Kotcheff, starring Dolph Lundgren, Marushka Detmers and John Ashton, THE BED (Producer), directed by Oskar Reif, with Igor Luther Director of Photography, AUTO-WORKSHOP (Co-producer) in coproduction Etamp / WDR Germany / Czech TV, directed by Milan Šteindler, and the PASSAGE, produced with the support of Eurimages and in coproduction Etamp / La Cassine, France / Artemis, Belgium, directed by Juraj Herz and starring Jacek Borkowski. ETAMP has helped new Czech films appear, such as THANKS FOR EVERY NEW MORNING, directed by Milan Šteindler, Czech Lion Award for the best Czech film and PRINCESS OF THE MILL, directed by Zdeněk Troška.

ETAMP was a founder-member of the Producer´s Association, joining other film companies in the Czech Republic. After the Czech Republic´s entry to the European fund Eurimages, it was the first of the Czech producers who participated in this association. To date, there have already been 3 co-productions realized by ETAMP with a support of Eurimages fund. The General Manager of ETAMP is a member of the Czech Film and TV Academy.
